Process Development Associate
Person at this position will interact with other members of R&D group in moving products from research into development. Participate in designing and conducting critical experiments related to islet isolation and associated processes. This will involve organ procurement, tissue digestion and process development. Will be responsible for writing and following SOPs. Participate in characterization of products by performing laboratory analysis of samples for process optimization purposes. Responsible for data analysis and presentation to the senior management.
Requirements
- BS in biological sciences or related field
- 2-6 years experience in the Biotech industry
- Experience in aseptic techniques, tissue procurement, cell culture and cell and tissue engineering is required
- Team player who is highly motivated, proactive and well organized
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is necessary
